Get On Board Ctrl.Alt.Shift - How You Can Help Haiti...
It's not about sitting and staring. As soon as the earthquakes devastated Haiti last month, Ctrl.Alt.Shift has been in full recovery mode, working 24/7 through numerous paths to aid our brothers and sisters across the world. There are still loads of antics up our sleeves for us (and you) to do our part...
The Ctrl.Alt.Shift Haiti Auction
GO GO GO! The green light is on, so get bidding on the mass of items we've got on offer here. Up for grabs (if you want it enough!) are signed celebrity memorabilia (think Robbie Williams CD and a Blue Sony PSP signed by Chipmunk and Tinchy Stryder), a Christian Dior bag, a life-size Kung-Fu Panda, and loads more… Don’t miss out – and remember, ALL proceeds go to Haiti.
Ctrl.Alt.Shift Rave 4 Haiti! @ Pure Nightclub - High Wycombe
At the last one (on January 20), at The Den Club in London, we raved for Haiti and raised over £10,000 on the night. This time, we’re going to bring the rumble of the music, and the cause, to the High Wycombe massive! Ctrl.Alt.Shift alongside Doneao, Wiley, Bashy and others will be partying hard tomorrow night (February 12) – so if you’re up for it (with a £5 donation entrance fee you should be), roll on down to Pure Nightclub. All details are here.
United Underground 2 Raffle
It’s back! On February 20, Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall will open its doors once again to a whole day of art, music and activism – brought to you by Ctrl.Alt.Shift, British Underground and Riz MC Ahmed. There’ll be music by Trembling Bells, Eskimo Dance, JME and more, plus Craftivist Collective and Print Club London workshops, and speaker sessions with the likes of Ken Livingstone and Peter Tatchell (view the full line-up here). Throughout the day, drop some change for our Haiti raffle with a bundle of prizes to win – ranging from Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PSP games, to Boxfresh t-shirts and DVDs. What better way to spend your Saturday…
Keep Donating…
If you can’t make it to our events, don’t sweat – we’ve set up a donations page on the site right here. As ever, please donate as much as you can, and help the people of Haiti.
Where it goes: Ever wonder where your money goes…? It's a very fair question to ask, and Ctrl.Alt.Shift is more than happy to answer it – as we stand clear and proud of our emergency relief work, passionate and determined to ensure the money received for Haiti is used as effectively as possible.
