Next week is the 25th anniversary of the Bhopal Disaster and the guys at The Bhopal Medical Appeal will be commemorating it with a 'die-in' on Trafalgar Sq. They want to show the people in London what it's like to have bodies lying around all over the place after a disaster. It's going to be done totally guerilla style so hopefully they will kick up a bit of a storm.

They will be gathering just before 3pm. A large choir will arrive and, at the anointed hour will start singing 'Abide With Me'. Abide With Me was written by a man dying of TB, so it has some resonance with the effects of gas poisoning, and on top of that it was Gandhi's favourite hymn! As the hymn builds people will start covering themselves in white sheets which is to symbolise a funeral shroud. Weather permitting they will lie down! Hopefully some MP's will pop along to have a look, as the group have just passed and EDM in parliament.

But what they could do with, if you are interested in helping out is more bodies to spread about the place.

This has the makings of something spectacular.
