We were pretty star-struck ourselves at Ctrl.Alt.Shift HQ when Diversity emailed us asking if they could auction themselves…
 
To be specific the email from Terry went like this:
 
“Hi, I'm a member of Diversity and we were talking about the tragedy that happened in Haiti during rehearsals and we wanted to help out! We came up with the idea of a 'meet and greet'. The winner would come and spend the morning with us at our studio with five of their friends? The money raised will obviously go to the Haiti fund."
 
And with the bid going once, going twice, and gone to Abbey Collins and friends, we raised £422 for Haiti and in Abbey’s own words, “Diversity are my inspiration and I love them all so much, so spending the day with them at their studio was my dream come true.”
 
See boys and girls, karma truly does exist: give and you shall receive!
 
And just because you don’t see Haiti in the media headlines, doesn’t mean that everything is bright and dandy, our partners are working hard in different communities to ease the devastation and lack of infrastructure. The auction is drawing to a close so watch this space to see how much we raised it for Haiti and our partners.
