100 years ago two women died after trying to enter parliament. The women were part of a group of 300 who were there to demand a debate on the Conciliation Bill that would have given some women basic voting rights. 200 women were arrested and 6000 police were present.

The vigil is to remember the women who fought for the right to vote and to highlight the continued fight for gender equality in the UK and around the world.
