The mix of stroytelling, dance and music was adapted from the autobiography Slave, by Mende Nazar and Damien Lewis and tells a true story of modern day slavery.
12 year old Mende Nazar was among children abducted from the remote Nuba Mountains of Sudan after men came to the village on horseback and killed, raped and destroyed. After seven years, in 2000, she was passed to a family in London and managed to escape only to struggle for political assylum.
This emotional show aims to highlight how common slavery still is today.
