Fishing in the lake is one of the major sources of employment and income for most of the local population, but I am beginning to question whether this is the case as recent reports have shown how often fish are dying in the lake due to being poisoned by chemicals that suppose to increase the growth of flowers; flowers which are then imported to the Western world.
