The London Sinfionetta fuses contemporary music with audio-visuals and performing arts to offer a window onto conflicts past and present. The first in the series of performances at the Southbank Centre focuses on the plight of the world's 250,000 child soldiers, exploring the role music can have in increasing our awareness of world issues.
With the words of former young fighters performed live on stage by Ugandan actor Arthur Kisenyi, and even an on-screen cameo by well-known journalist and presenter Jon Snow this promises to be a powerful piece of concert theatre.
