The exhibition showcases 30 images that portray personal accounts of life in a developing country. The pictures aim to raise awareness of the poverty in which the communities live, the harsh conditions they endure, and their strength of character. The photos depict the people, the colourful nature of their personalities, their smiles and their sorrows.
The collective of dedicated Platform2 volunteers from across the UK, aged 18-26, are showcasing their work for the very first time. Contributing artists include amateur photographer Eloise Flaherty, 23, art student Leah Jenson, 19, and visual arts graduate Tess O’Connell, 24.
Note: The opening night is on the October 15, but the exhibition is open until the October 27.
