The CAS Fairtrade Bunt Stunt - In Support Of Fairtrade Foundation
Fairtrade - if you didn’t know already - is a down and funky trade mark that certifies that a fair price has been paid for a farmer or worker’s product.
Founded in a fusion of creative juices by Christian Aid, CAFOD, Traidcraft, Oxfam, World Development Movement and the Women’s Institute, Fairtrade has been kicking ass in the world of trade since 1992. With over 10,000 Fairtrade products available in 70 countries, global recognition of the label and awareness of the issues that led to the foundation’s creation are more than certainly on the increase. And it all started with a single Green and Black’s Maya Gold chocolate bar. In the last five years, sales of Fairtrade products have increased at an average of 40% per year.
Here at Ctrl.Alt.Shift, we wanted to come up with a way to support the Fairtrade Foundation’s fortnight celebration of all things Fairtrade which runs from February 28 to March 13…
We’re giving you the opportunity to upload a picture or video of yourself and your favourite Fairtrade product (like the ones on the left and right). Title it 'CAS Bunt Stunt', tell us who you are, why you LOVE your item and why you choose Fairtrade. The images and video stills will then be printed onto Fairtrade cotton triangles (see image below) and will contribute to the foundation’s attempt to create the worlds’ longest continuous piece of bunting!
Confused? Click here for more info on the world record bunt stunt.
Not only this but you will be part of our very own virtual bunting right here on the CAS website. Now, get snapping!
