Ctrl.Alt.Shift and Platform2 are hosting football tournaments around the UK to coincide with the World Cup being held in Africa for the first time.

STRIKE Newcastle will give teams a chance to compete for the Ctrl.Alt.STRIKE trophy and bring the World Cup a bit closer to home.

The event will take place from 10am on July 3, 2010 at Complete Football Centre, Newcastle Racecourse, Newcastle. NE3 5HP

We're looking for 20 teams of 18-30 year olds, 5-a-side, up to 8 players per team. Entry is £1 per player.

There will be food, a bar and an area for spectators to watch the matches so bring all your mates down to see you claim your tournament glory.
