For those not in the know, Streetstyle (SS) is fashion’s buzzword du jour. Shots of normal people dressed immaculately for others to pore over and copy (or slag off) are so popular that the style has influenced the latest DKNY Ad Campaign. If you are blissfully unaware of SS then wrap your goggles round this particular blogpost for the 411.

I first fell in love with Streetstyle when a fellow student at Manchester Uni set up manchesterlooks.blogspot.com and regularly papped my friends. Now Streetstyle blogs are big bizniz and popping up all over the world, www.istanbulstreetstyle.com anyone? There's an army of Brits waiting to be inspired by trends from far flung corners of the globe.

Heard of The Sartorialist? Well Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist, is pretty big news at the moment too as he has just released his first ever Sartorialist street style book, bigged up by Kanye West and featuring some of the best street style on the planet. It’s the kind of book you want to rip the pages out and stick on your wall.
Schumancan can also be seen around town with his beautiful and equally as stylish girlfriend Garance Dore. Garance runs her own equally (well nearly equally) popular blog which is rather unimaginatively titled www.garancedore.fr - she’s recently designed some tees for Gap featuring her scribbles so get ‘em while they're hot. Scott and Garance are the street style power couple and yes, I’d quite like to be their friend or in the least get them to take my picture.

If The Sart and GD are a little too high fash for your tastes then I would suggest getting yourself over to lookbook.nu where you can find some of the hottest teenagers in the world displaying their amazing taste in fashion (and quite a lot of leg). If I was a model scout then I’d basically never leave the house and scour lookbook.nu instead. If I was single I’d also probably look on there for a boyfriend (top tip ladies, remember where you heard it first). Lookbook.nu features the special few who have been deigned fashion forward enough to have membership - you have to apply by sending your piccy in, whilst it doesn’t say it anywhere on the site, you have to imagine LB’s strapline would be ‘don’t be over 25, Help the Aged it ain’t’.

So you like shoes too? Well there’s a site for you - www.jakandjill.com/blog - that belongs to a gentleman called Tommy with a shoe fetish (in the best possible way). He’s found snapping people’s shoes at London, New York and Paris fashion weeks (I'd love to see what he'd come back from India with). Want to get papped in the street by a blogger yourself? Dress immaculately, wear enormous heels - boys too, overall make like Tyra and get fierce…
