'Ctrl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption' on Tour!
The comic book; be it heroes wearing their pants over lycra, fighting villains in capes, or more serious tales, graphic novels are big business spawning films, merchandise and timeless characters. And now of course there’s Ctrl.Alt.Shift’s Unmasks Corruption to add to the hall of comic book fame.

All the way back in November, Ctrl.Alt.Shift unveiled the ‘Unmasks Corruption’ Exhibition and comic book anthology, featuring some of the finest comic art in the country, all themed around corruption. The eclectic display of talent featured work from leading artists, telling stories ranging from the struggles in Palestine to the corruption of politicians. Also included are entrants from the Ctrl.Alt.Shift ‘Unmasking Corruption’ Comic Competition last year.
The exhibition was previously on display in the Lazarides gallery in Soho, and won acclaim from comic enthusiasts, artists and activists alike. If all this is making you feel a bit gutted that you didn’t make it down to London to see it the first time, then despair no more! Because ‘Ctrl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption’ is going on tour, starting in Bristol.
The exhibition will be on display in ‘The Emporium’ on Stokes Croft, Bristol from
27th February until the 8th March, giving you little over a week to get yourself down there. The display will then be whisked off around the rest of the UK, to Nottingham, Liverpool, Leeds and more.
Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks as we reveal exact dates and locations.
Bristol people, make sure you come along to the Emporium next week and check out Ctrl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption and pick up your copy of the comic book anthology and issue 4 of our magazine, ‘The Corruption Issue.’
Or, if you prefer to peruse political comic book artwork whilst being serenaded by Bristol’s best, then the launch party on Saturday 27th is for you. The night will feature music from reggae and dub sensations Dub Revolution, with the very special Ilodica on the melodica, a whole crew of seriously talented musicians.
Watch this space for more details and dates to be announced in Liverpool, Leeds and Nottingham.
