Some of you may remember Tinchy Stryder as one of the faces of Ctrl.Alt.Shift's HIV protests last year, and some of you may remember him for being a UK Chart topper with his hit single 'Number One'. Either way, it seems Tinchy isn't so small when it comes to volunteering as he headed down to Kennington Park, Oval, to launch the vinspired National Awards.

The vinspired launch is all about celebrating the achievements of 16-25 year olds who volunteer and giving them something back. James Cleverly (the Youth Ambassador for the London Mayor) also attended and spent time alongside Tinchy whilst he took part in a football match with some of the volunteers during the course of the afternoon.

Tinchy - who acknowledges never having volunteered in his youth - told Ctrl.Alt.Shift that he feels as though he's now giving something back by taking time out to be the ambassadors for vinspired and Ctrl. "Volunteering makes sense, a lot of people have been down bad paths and by giving up time to volunteer, whether that's to help others to play football or music, I'm helping overcome the barriers that might stop people improving and changing their lives and communities."
