Step up the hoo-ha over healthcare. But to suggest he's facing his first real slump in popularity, as many pundits have been doing recently, is overdoing it a bit. The fact that the (ever so slightly) improving US economy is not helping him at the moment speaks volumes.

The banner unfurled across the entrance read 'Under New Ownership'. 'Who's Bank? Our Bank!' was the chant ringing out outside the Bishopsgate headquarters of RBS on Tuesday, as it became the scene of one of a number of Climate Camp protests held across London. For at least a little while, you wouldn't have been able to argue with the protesters: six of them managed to make headlines early in the working day by infiltrating the building and super-gluing themselves together around a column in the office's busy trading floor.
