Create: A Photo for World AIDS Day [18]
There are around 33 million people worldwide living with HIV and over 5000 people die every day as a result of HIV and related illnesses. We’re collecting photos of people using the red ribbon of World AIDS Day in a creative way. Get some red ribbon, take a photo and upload it to the site to join our campaign.

Find a video that tackles one of the issues that causes poverty in the developing world, and win yourself a Ctrl.Alt.Shift t-shirt! When you’ve uploaded your video to the site, drop us an e-mail to [20] with your name, address and a link to the video you’ve uploaded to enter the prize draw.

The monsoon floods in Pakistan are yet another stark reminder (as if we need any more) of how vulnerable the world's poorest communities are to natural disasters. Write to the UK government and get climate justice.

Petition: FTSE 4 [22]
Developing countries lose out on an estimated $160bn every year - more than they get in international aid - because of tax dodging by unscrupulous companies. Some of the biggest companies in the UK have the power to help end poverty and get these services provided. Petition them now!

E-mail: The Big Four Accountancy Firms [23]
If companies were required to say how much profit they make and tax they pay in every country they operate in, governments of poor countries would be able to spot where companies might be dodging tax. Help us get the biggest accounting firms – Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers – to support a change in the accounting rules and make companies pay their taxes.

Saturday 27th November will see Ctrl.Alt.Shift at the BFI as part of We The Peoples Film Festival. 2 of the Ctrl.Alt.Shift shorts – HIV-The Musical [25] and 1000 Voices [26] – will be screened. 12 – 7pm, free entry, BFI Southbank, London. Get yourself down!

The issue of tax is pretty complicated but it’s so important for getting money for developing countries which they’re owed by multinational companies which are dodging paying tax.
