Young Blood: G20 Reflections

After Climate Camp, I had only had a few hours sleep, but I was determined to take back to the streets as soon as possible.  It was the day world leaders would meet to discuss the world economy they have single-handedly destroyed, and I for one wanted to show the G20 what time it is.

Ctrl.Alt.Shift @ Strangers to Citizens Rally

At 8am on a Bank Holiday Monday, Central London is a different world. However, me and 200 other volunteers weren’t there to soak in an eerily silent Hyde Park, or gawp at a tourist-free Buckingham Palace.

Is the $651.2 billion US military mistaking pre-pubescent children for insurgents, as friends of the boy believe?

Young Blood: Banking On G20?

When Martin and I descended on the area outside the Bank of England, that we seemed to be frequenting on an almost hourly basis, it felt about as dramatic as The Alan Titchmarsh Show. There were at most, 200 people sitting around, and quite a few police standing across the road.

Feature: For PETA's Sake

Everyone loves a fluffy kitten or a squirrel on a water ski, and I’m sure most of us agree that animals should be treated in a civil and just way whether we’re meat eaters or not but PETA, the people for the ethical treatment of animals, are slowly making such a menace of the animal rights cause that some vegetarians and vegans are...
